Riverton CUSD #14 Strategic Objectives for the 2007/2008 School Year

The following are the strategic objectives for the Riverton School District for the 2007/2008 school year.  There are four objectives.  The first objective relates to the implementation of the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence.  The second and third objectives focus on reading and math achievement.  The fourth objective focuses on improving the communication systems throughout the school district.  You will notice that there are measurement targets listed under each strategic objective.  These targets are how the district plans to measure whether or not they meet their objectives.   

 

FY 08 Riverton CUSD #14 Strategic Objectives

Strategic Objective #1: To implement process improvements in order to meet the Overall scoring requirements outlined in the Baldrige Criteria

Measurement Targets: 

  • FY 08 – To meet the overall scoring requirements in ten of the twelve Baldrige Criteria  
  • FY 09 – To meet the overall scoring requirements in all twelve of the twelve Baldrige Criteria 
  • FY 10 – To meet the overall scoring requirement in all twelve of the twelve Baldrige Criteria and being to meet some of the multiple scoring requirements in four of the twelve criteria. In addition, receive the Bronze Awards from the Lincoln Foundation

 

Strategic Objective #2: To increase the number of students that meets and/or exceeds in Reading on the ISAT and PSAE tests (current level 69.14%)

Measurement Targets:

  • FY 08 – 73.64% 
  • FY 09 – 78.14% 
  • FY 10 – 82.64%

*an increase of 4.5% each year will allow the district to meet the NCLB requirement of 100% by FY14

 

Strategic Objective #3: To increase the number of students that meets and/or exceeds in Math on the ISAT and PSAE tests (current level 79.58%)

Measurement Targets

  • FY 08 – 82.58% 
  • FY 09 – 85.58% 
  • FY 10 – 88.58%

*an increase of 3.0% year will allow the district to meet the NCLB requirement of 100% by FY14

 

Strategic Objective #4:  To increase public perception of the Riverton CUSD #14 School District 

There will be several measures that will be used to monitor this strategic objective.  Those measures are as follows:

Perception Survey Data:

  • Students – baseline to be established in FY08 
  • Parents – baseline will be established in FY08 (HS Parents were not surveyed last year) 
  • Community Members – baseline will be established in FY08 
  • Non-Riverton Community Surveys – baseline will be established in FY08

 Other Measures: 

  • Website Hits – baseline will be established in FY08 
  • Student Enrollment
  • Residential Development – both in number and new EAV generated by residential growth
