IASB School Board Conference Presentation

        School Board President Paul Nonneman and Superintendent Dr. Tom Mulligan presented on Saturday, November 18 at the recent IASB Conference in Chicago.  The presentation was titled, “Effective School Improvement Embedded in a Culture of Continuous Improvement.”  The presentation was broken down into four sections.  The first section was an overview of the district demographics.  The second portion of the presentation focused on the district’s journey towards implementing the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence.  The links to those handouts are below under the title Baldrige.  The next section focused on how the Riverton School District conducts school improvement across the district, with specific examples on how it works in our middle school.  Those handouts are provided below under the title of School Improvement.  The final section of the presentation focused on how the district has begun to implement Plan Do Study Act (PDSA) as an instructional approach in the classroom.  Those handouts are provided below under the title of PDSA.
