The third quarter is over! Unbelievable!! Where does the time go? This is the time of year when I stop dead in my tracks and yell, "Wait!! The year is almost over and I haven't taught you this, and this, and this, and..." And then I look at my class and see just how much they lave grown and how much more quickly they learn, and then I heave that huge sigh of relief and move on.
It's so rewarding to compare those August first graders with the now-April first graders. They have changed so much! They are more knowledgeable and more self-confident. That makes me know they will surely have a good year in second grade.
I, too, continue to go to classes and workshops that will extend my teaching abilities so that I can help these children as much as possible.
LEARNING IS A LIFE-LONG PROCESS! ENJOY IT!!
