Shoes, Shoes and Shoes

by Steve Hindert

January 09, 2010

NOTE: Even though some boots are "fashionable" to wear to school, they do not make good P.E. shoes.  This will also count for snow boots in the winter.  Please keep a pair of P.E. shoes at school if you think this might become a problem/

Please make sure your child is wearing proper shoes when they come to P.E. class.  Sandals, Crocs and dress shoes/high heals do not provide support necessary to be active during class.

The safety issue of having the shoes "fly" off and hit another student warrants the child sitting out of class and having their name moved on the PBIS stoplight.  This is also true if a shoe comes off during the class due to not having their shoes tied.
