The following are the central office staff for the Riverton School District:
The Superintendent of Schools for Riverton Community School District #14 is Dr. Thomas H. Mulligan. Dr. Mulligan began teaching at Riverton High School as a math teacher in 1991. He became the middle school principal in 1994, where he served in that capacity for seven years. On July 1, 2001 he began working in his new position of Superintendent. He obtained his PhD in Educational Administration and Foundations from Illinois State University in December, 2006. Nancy Galligan is the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent and School Board Secretary/Treasurer. Her responsibilities are varied; they include preparing all financial reports for the Board of Education, preparing and posting Board meeting agendas and meeting minutes. As manager of the office, Nancy is responsible for preparing employee contracts and overseeing employee benefits, including worker's compensation claims. Kim Carver has been an employee of the district since 1991. Kim started out as a bus driver, and in 1996 moved to the middle school office in a secretarial position. Kim is responsible for payroll and accounts payable. kcarver@rivertonschools.org
Julie Schultz works in a support position to the Superintendent and his staff. Julie is also responsible for preparing the district newsletter. jschultz@rivertonschools.org
