Announcements and Reminders
As some
of you may have heard about our ‘drama’ last week….I broke my toe here at work
and had to leave to get x-rays. Luckily
I was back at work the next day hobbling around here in a very stylish wooden shoeJ. The
students have been very sweet and patient with me as it takes us a little
longer to get to specials, recess, or lunch…but we are all hanging in there. Let’s hope for less excitement this week…at
school at least. My 3 year old starts
Pre-K on Thursday so things at my house will be interesting! Have a great week!!
Student
grades are now up on Sykward and available for you to access using your
password. I update grades weekly (usually
over the weekend), so updated grades should be available to you at least by
Monday. If you have questions about Skyward access, you can contact Jo in
the office. If you have questions about grades, let me know.
Please
encourage your students to play around on Study Island. They can access it through any computer with
Internet access. I will be posting
weekly or bi-weekly assignments and they should work on those before picking a
topic of their choice. We will have
dedicated time to spent on Study Island weekly, but the more practice they get,
the better prepared they will be for the ISAT.
Please
remind your student to read for at least 20 minutes each night and study Rocket
Math facts for 10 minutes each night.
This will make a HUGE difference in their reading ability and build a
solid foundation for more challenging Math concepts!

check home folders and planners each night!
