Pioneers 7:55-9:50

PIONEERS is a simulation that allows students to participate in situations and events similar to those experienced by pioneers headed west during the 1840’s. Students will face problems such floods, droughts, blocked trails, snakes, Indians, and lack of food. The would-be homesteaders must make numerous individual and small group decisions. These decisions and the events provide the students with a realistic view of what pioneer life was like, why people went west, and what happened to them along the trail.
The Great Debate 7:55-9:50
Instructor: Ms. Campbell $20.00
Show off your persuasive skills and convince others that YOU are right. Future lawyers and politicians will shine in this class as they learn the art of debate through research and actual debates while working as a team. Students will select topics that interest them and defend those topics through a formal debate. May the best debater win!
Wild World of Sports 9:50-11:40
Instructor: Mr. Lee $20.00
Do you love to be active? Tired of sitting around the house over break? This class is sure to keep you moving and having a great time. Students will learn about the rules of various sports then get to hone their skills. Sports from tennis and badminton to bowling and pickle ball will keep you having a great time over break with your friends while learning more about different sports.
Scrapbooking Extravanganza 9:50-11:40

One week of Scrapbooking fun! Bring in your favorite pictures and turn them into works of art! Learn fun new ways to decorate your pictures! Come join the Scrapbooking Extravaganza!
Safety Kids (7th Grade only) 7:55-11:40
Instructors: Mrs. Morris & Mrs. Pinter $20.00
The Safety Kids are back! That means that if you are drug free 7th and like to perform, then Safety Kids is where you belong. This drug-free group for 7th graders will perform at various elementary schools for the rest of the school year. Members will teach kids how to say no to drugs and be drug free.
