Tactical Response Training Exercise to Be Held at RHS

The Riverton Police Department in conjunction with the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office will hold a tactical response training exercise at Riverton High School during the March break. The exercise will simulate a hostage situation with casualties and will give county wide agencies an opportunity to practice their rapid response guidelines. The training is set for March 24th from 11:00 - 5:00 pm. The high school will be closed and off limits during the exercise.
