Assignments & Grading Criteria
Guided Reading Assessments: These are 5 point assignments given for students complete to assess their understanding of the strategy that is currently being taught in the classroom.
Independent Practice: Students will be required to complete a certain amount of work during their own time. Independent practice will be chosen by the students from a menu and will be completed with time given during class as well as at home.
Participation: Students that actively participate will receive a daily grade for appropriate performance and hard work. As long as the student is trying and working hard, these should be easy points to earn.
