Riverton Elementary School's science curriculum is Discovery Works by Houghton Mifflin for Kindergarten through 4th grade. Outlined below are key elements of the program, as well grade level science curriculum maps:
- Hands-on Activities
Instruction includes a variety of hands-on activities to ensure that students gain scientific knowledge through explorations.
- Literary Content
Reading materials are written at grade level and offer support for students of varying abilities.
- Spiraled Curriculum
Content is spiraled throughout the grade levels building upon student's knowledge from previous lessons.
