Biography

Hi, my name is Katie Brumleve and I am looking forward to working with your child this school year. Over the next ten months, students will increase their knowledge in all subject areas and have the opportunity to participate in numerous extracurricular activities.
This is my 1st year teaching 6th grade at Riverton Middle School. I received my degree from Eastern Illinois University. I currently teach 6th Grade Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, and Language Arts.
It is good practice to set goals for yourself, therefore I have a few goals for the year. I would like to get to know each of you so you feel safe and comfortable coming to class each day. I would also like to make learning enjoyable. I will attempt this by using technology, playing educational games, and keeping a positive attitude. My third goal for the year is to do my best in assisting you to learn as much as possible.
